For almost two years, I had been waiting for this, and right now I feel blessed to be a part of this generation. My Buzz Review of Wonder Woman comes from my surpassed expectations at the theatre last night. Wonder Woman was a stunning theatrical representation of the things that plague the world today. Gal Gadot gives the audience a perfect thread from the origins of naive Wonder Woman to an epiphany which everyone of us should have in the world today. Don’t you dare see this movie on a small screen!
The movie gave us a hero with a big heart, unbridled courage, and will power to fight negativity to her last dying breath. This was a superhero movie will a lot of depth and representation. The relationship between Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) and Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) breathed life into the kind of respect men should give women. Each scene was orchestrated with such detail, I could practically feel the great effort and dedication oozing out of the big screen. I thought I was the only person entranced by the movie till my friend chose not to get up to pee till the movie was over…yeah! It was that good.
Wonder Woman came with a few bland scenes that didn’t last long enough have any impact on the plot development. The plot twists and final reveal were spot on. Danny Huston (General Ludendorff) as the villain was a wonderful depiction of pride, heartlessness and an overinflated ego. David Thewlis tables a BIG surprise to the audience in the third act of the movie. (I can’t reveal this because it would be a spoiler).
Nonetheless, with such stunning visuals and acting, Patty Jenkins and her production team did a remarkable job of piecing this motion picture together. I’ve always had fears for Wonder Woman since it was announced by Warner Bros. I had earnestly hoped that her character would not be ruined by a movie that lacked everything she stood for. Patty Jenkins is not a let down. Gal Gadot breathed such life into the character that it made her unbreakable. No one in the theatre could take their eyes off her – especially me, haha. Wonder woman is like nothing ever brought before to the big screen. The movie had a wonderful blend of flare, heart, comedy and badass.
With such positive energy and electrifying representations, the Buzz Review of Wonder Woman had to be positive. I read the comics everyday and its like I just met her character for the first time…Wonder Woman was a breathtaking spectacle.

Basically I think it was a beautiful movie and had a good story line but at the same time I expected more. I didn’t like the end part where the spy had to die and she had to stay back.
It is also an educating movie and a good option for students and interested individuals in the international system to watch. It helps give a clearer picture of how States and especially Germany have always had to struggle for power and dominance in the international system and how wars equally get to start. .
Hmm I see what you mean Anita, but in real wars, good people die. Sometimes we have to go through fire to have our defining moments. Maybe if it were a Disney movie, I would agree with the “happily ever after” plot line. And oh yes! The movie has so much our youngsters can learn from. A detailed visual re-enactment of a world war setting especially the part of the “No Man’s Land
Amazing movie! Gal was made for that role. It was well executed. Y’all should see the movie in 3D though it added to the excitement. The effects had me ducking for the bullets??.
Lmao I get the feeling, I saw it a second time in 3d yesterday…and it was awesome. Too lit to be true!
A good review….. Nice one and keep it up
Thank you Dammy! I definitely will
