On behalf of everyone here at Buzz in motion, I would like to wish everybody a happy new month. We were presented with breathtaking and record shattering movies in February. However, there is already an awesome line up of films for the month of March and they look like movies that could break records and gain new grounds. This article presents a countdown of top five movies to look forward to in March 2018.
No.5: Gringo
Gringo joyrides across the border into Mexico, where all is not as it seems for mild-mannered American businessman Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo). Crossing the line from citizen to criminal, Harold tangles with duplicitous business partners, Mexican drug lords, international mercenaries, and the DEA. As he attempts to survive in one of the most dangerous places on earth, the question lingers: is this ordinary man in way over his head, or is he two steps ahead?
Gringo casts great acts like our very own David Oyelowo, Charlize Theron, Joel Edgerton among other casts. It is set to be released on Friday, March 9th.

No. 2: Tomb Raider
Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished when she was scarcely a teen. Now a young woman of 21 without any real focus or purpose, Lara navigates the chaotic streets of trendy East London as a bike courier, barely making the rent, and takes college courses, rarely making it to class. Going explicitly against her father’s final wishes, she leaves everything she knows behind in search of her dad’s last-known destination: a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan. The reboot is very much more an origin story than the Angelina Jolie version. As Alicia Vikander explained to uproxx.com, “This is more of an origin story. You get into an emotional aspect of getting to know Lara hopefully in an in-depth way”.
This movie will premier on Friday, March 16.

No. 1: Red Sparrow
A devoted daughter determined to protect her mother at all costs. A prima ballerina whose ferocity has pushed her body and mind to the absolute limit. A master of seductive and manipulative combat. The listed movies above are top five movies to look forward to in March 2018 that promise to be worthwhile and entertaining. Be sure to check them out as soon as possible. Let me know how you feel about my five movies to look forward to in March 2018. You can also suggest movies you would like to see for the month of April.
Why in the world is Wrinkle In Time completely missing from your list???
It would have made the list if there were not better ‘realistic’ movies up this month. Although ‘Wrinkle in time’ movie includes cast like Oprah Winfrey, it’s still doesn’t compete with the five listed above.
Did you just say “realistic”? Who wants that? People want what they can enjoy and I would personally kick off Tyler Perry’s Acrimony for Wrinkle In Time any day 😂😂😂
I guess we’d all have to wait and see how both movies do in the cinema to conclude which is better and preferred by the general audience.
Wrinkle In Time is a Disney film…what do you think? 😂😂😂
